1. Acceptance and eligibility

By accessing Khmer Market, creating a seller profile, posting a product, or contacting a seller, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be at least 18 years old, or otherwise have legal capacity and any required permission to enter into a transaction.

2. What Khmer Market provides

Khmer Market is a marketplace where independent users advertise products, property, vehicles, food, and services for sale or rent. Unless a listing clearly states otherwise, Khmer Market does not own, inspect, store, deliver, finance, or guarantee listed items and is not a party to the agreement between buyer and seller.

3. Accounts and seller profiles

• Provide accurate, current profile and contact information.
• Keep access to your signed-in account secure and notify the site owner if you suspect unauthorized use.
• Facebook and Telegram contact channels are required for sellers; telephone, email, business name, and website may be optional where marked.
• Do not impersonate another person or business, create deceptive profiles, or use contact information without permission.

4. Listing rules

Sellers are responsible for every listing they publish. Titles, descriptions, categories, prices, availability, location, photos, videos, ownership, condition, and material defects must be accurate and not misleading. Photos must show the actual item or service unless clearly identified as an illustration.

You may not list illegal, stolen, counterfeit, unsafe, recalled, fraudulent, infringing, adult, exploitative, or regulated items without every licence or approval required by law. Weapons, illegal drugs, human trafficking, wildlife products prohibited by law, false documents, and scams are strictly prohibited.

5. Plans, payments, and expiry

• The Free Plan supports the limits displayed on the Site. A Free Plan product expires 12 months after publication and is automatically deleted. Its listing slot then resets so the seller can add a new product.
• Business and Enterprise limits, billing terms, discounts, and expiry periods are those shown when the seller selects a plan.
• Paid plans may use ABA Pay or KHQR. A plan is activated only after payment review and approval; entering a payment reference does not itself confirm payment.
• Fees are generally non-refundable after paid-plan benefits are activated, except for a duplicate charge, platform error, an agreed exception, or where required by applicable law.
• We may change future plan prices or features with reasonable notice. A change does not alter an already approved paid term unless required by law or agreed with the seller.

6. Publishing, review, and ranking

Sellers can review and edit a draft before making it public. A newly published active product is normally shown ahead of older marketplace listings under the default ranking, but its position may change because of category filters, search terms, sorting choices, expiry, moderation, or future ranking improvements. No permanent first position is guaranteed.

7. Buyer and renter responsibilities

Before paying or accepting a product, independently verify the seller, ownership, condition, authenticity, price, licences, documents, and delivery terms. Meet in a safe place, retain written records, and use a payment method you trust. Do not send deposits or personal documents when you cannot verify the other party.

8. Transactions and disputes between users

Buyers and sellers agree directly on inspection, payment, delivery, returns, warranties, taxes, receipts, and any cancellation. Each party is responsible for complying with consumer protection, e-commerce, tax, licensing, product safety, food safety, and other applicable Cambodian laws. Khmer Market may review a report or remove a listing but is not required to decide private disputes or reimburse a user.

9. Content permission

You keep ownership of content you upload. You give Khmer Market a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, format, display, and distribute that content only as reasonably needed to operate, promote, secure, and improve the marketplace. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you provide.

10. Moderation and account action

Khmer Market may review, reject, hide, remove, or re-categorize content and may limit or suspend access when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users, investigate fraud, obey legal requirements, maintain security, or manage technical problems. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent removal.

11. Availability and liability

The Site is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, a sale, a buyer response, listing position, product quality, seller identity, or transaction outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Khmer Market is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from a user, listing, external contact channel, payment between users, or third-party service. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Changes, governing law, and contact

We may update these Terms as the marketplace changes. The revised date will appear at the top, and material changes may be highlighted on the Site. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Users should first try to resolve a concern in good faith through the Khmer Market support channel or the administrator who provided access; unresolved matters may be submitted to a competent Cambodian authority or court.
